Janet Batch sings on It Aint Workin' from the upcoming album HipHoptical.

Janet Batch is a singer-songwriter based just south of Ithaca, NY. Her sultry tunes are “music for your soul” said one fan. “Low down country Stevie Nicks” said another. She released “A Good Woman is Hard to Find” in 2017. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by longtime friend and collaborator, Trevor Thorpe, at Hawksview Studio.

“When Trevor shared some early recordings of HipHoptical, Janet was drawn to ”Ain’t Workin’” and imagined a woman’s perspective to balance David’s vocals and lyrics. “This song just really makes me want to get my swerve on,” Janet thought to herself. She proposed some new lyrics and hit the studio.”
